I'm back!
Today, I was 45 mins late for school! well done, Sand. I purposely missed the cog UT. Though I heard it was easy.. but haiz.. let's not talk about it. ahaha. I woke up at 8am..lol.=)
Attended a franchising talk with my classmates as today was enterprise lesson. The talk lasted for an hour and a half. SO DREARY! lol.. hahaz.. but interesting, one of the franchiser of the Anderson of Denmark's ice-cream is super hilarious, the way he talks, the way he answers question. The only think that I took away from the talk was.. whatever we do, must always come from our hearts. hahaz.. that's his favourite line. Between, his name is Christopher Gay, haha what a unique surname, he says that he ain't gay though you can call him Mr Gay. Gay actually means happy too.. so is he really a happy man? hahaz.. that puzzles me. hahahz. lol.. lame. sial..

rp open house 13-16jan 07

13-16 jan-RP open house

I reported to school at 9-9.30am daily, to get ready for the set up of the equipments. We did a quick dry run and sound check before the actual show starts. =D The day was great, I was given a task by the producer-janna to do the equipment checklist, it wasn't an easy task afterall when I first started it. Slowly, as the days passes by, I got used to the equipment checklist. I was so-called held responsible for all the sta equipments-like cannon, panasonic video cameras, anycast set, dv decks, tripods, x-box equipments etc. All those equipments cost a bomb! hahaz..=) I gave out pamphlets to the students who visited the booth, sold sta.. like explaining the various diplomas to them, show them around the booth, like the dj sound equipment console that were there, the anycast station and the cameras that we sta students handle. At times, when the crowd ceased, my friends and I sat at the lazy corner and play x-box, watch the others play, rested at the comfy cushions, painted old shoes, and masks, hands etc. It was just FUN.. Ecstatic. During our break time, we walked around the school and explored other booths as well, I think that no matter whichever booth we visited, none can be compared with sta booth set up etc. The effort we put in to set up everything and make the space as our future playground was indeed awesome. I learnt how to operate the anycast set and it was great knowing the functions and how hosting a live show is all about. I get to handle cannon video cameras too, it was a wonderful experience, like listening to the producer's call and trying out the various camera angles and shots. I simply love to handle cannon cameras. =D I can't wait to enter year 2. oh manz.. hahaz.. I got to know some of the sta facilitators who were on duty for those days. My mentor treated a fellow sta student and I some food. wee.. =D I also tried my hands out at "DJ"-ing, trying out the turntables and the spinning music, it was really an eye-opener for me. Varient commented the yr 1s for their great effort in contributing for the past few days for promoting sta diplomas etc. My cousin and friends came down to check out sta courses, I hope that they will choose rp sta as their first choice next month. :)

Monday- 08/01/07

after lessons
bev and I went for the campus crusade gathering
we were new-comers, there were quite a number of unfamilar faces at the gathering
though, I knew some of them
haha
so glad to see them
didn't know they joined this too
we were invited by our faci.
It was fun
we played pre-fellowship games
(eg: hi mary, yes mary, say hi to mary again...) lol
lame game
but it's very interesting
there's forfeit involved too
haha..
I got a dot drawn on my palm from a "future doctor" student.. lol..from the game
we procceeded with 2 worship songs with the guitar played at the background
It was awesome , worshiping at the lawn-open concept
After which, it was sharing time by one of the person in charge
she shared about prayer..
it was quite interesting
a number of references from the bible
we laughed
and shared
However, we had to leave early..
went home just in time to watch my all time favourite tv variety show..

when natalie and the blonde guy was eliminated,
I was reduced to tears
so sad that they left
I felt that they are indeed so good and proffessional in dancing
I am going to master my dancing techniques and live up to my dream to be a principle dancer
I am going to chase my all time passion!
YEs.. dancing.. tt's it
it's just pure enjoyment when I dance and dance unto the LORD with songs and praises

however
I sat down on the couch and watched pck and the arena..
the debating show between RI and Loyang sec
the motion of the debate was does good looks compare to effort? smth like tt.,.
it was really interesting to see the different issues and examples that both the 1-3 speakers from both the school debated on
the rebuttal round was exciting too
there was an adrenaline rush.. when certain issues were brought up during the debate
haha
the judges comments etc..
the gestures and the style of the debate from both the schools were amazingly great
all the speakers were confident and they articulate every sentences and they could think off their feet immediately
how I wish I could do so confidently in class if there was a debate or during presentations etc
I am going to learn!
learning is indeed part and parcel of one's daily life-limitless.. regardless of age..
After the entire debate..
I stayed up and tried to revise my work
however, it lasted only for a while

it's science lesson now.. on natural selection
it's rather easy
however.. the colour VB programming can be tough to understand at times
but no matter what,
I ain't going to give up.
I know.. thru christ, ALL things are INDEED possible!AMEN!
I'm going to get an external hardisk soon...

Our ideas were rather interesting
One of the groups's product was beer... hah
it was hilarious, the idea of coming up with the product differentiation which is beer bath
hahz..
my faci told us that literally beer bath for customers?
hahaz, you know what? my faci said that when beer comes in contact with our body/skin, it will become hairier....lol.
OMG! that means we humans, enter the bath tub, once bathe with beer, we will come out of the shower as a gorrilla instead. ... (dots.. ) (*laughs*)
