mid-autumn celebrations

I was invited to my cousin's church to celebrate mid-autumn festival. There was a dance performance, praise and worship and then followed by a sermon by the pastor. haha, can you imagine, all these were actually held in chinese? hahaz=) I tried my very best to understand what the pastor was preaching etc. haha He actually cracked some really lame jokes. interesting though. The hymns were sung in chinese too, the lyrics and the rythm of the song was beautiful and the meaning of the song was awesome! In fact, today I felt a different feel of what service is like in chinese. =D What the entire service, we walked round the neighbourhood with our lanterns and just chatted on the way with my friends and cousins etc. It was simply wonderful. After the walk, we went to the basement to watch some camp video clips and had some light refreshments. We took pictures and bonded well. We also played some games and there was even chinese lantern quizes, haha, it was tough for me, as I hardly know the mando-pop stuff. lol! After which, we left, it was a wonderful night with you guys!! Hope that there will be more of these events, and we will meet again!!
